Director of Online Services and Web Development (Ruby on Rails)

Our web team runs the engine behind our customer engagement and communication. We use a combination of technologies including Ruby on Rails, good ole HTML/CSS/SASS, and Wordpress, tied into our extensive Salesforce and Pardot applications that handle marketing automations and sales tracking. Our customers live in every corner of the planet, so we need clean, responsive, highly automated websites that help them find what they need. As a business, we need tools to manage and serve those customers on the back end. We also need to track our data and information.

We also develop and manage custom websites for our customers that run in a .NET environment, with C# and AngularJS.

We are looking for a Director of Online Services and Web Development to handle all aspects of our website frameworks, customer databases and flow, and the Amazon and Azure servers behind them. At this time, you will be the team lead and the team. You will assist us in identifying areas where we need contractor and project help, or additional team members, and you will take the lead in managing those contractors and projects.

You should have a passion for excellent user experience and a desire to share and discover data and analytics. You enjoy challenges and leadership. You like being part of the entire process from the idea to deployment to scaling and growing. You like solving problems, and none is too small or large to gain your respect and attention. This is an exciting position for someone with web experience who wants to work specifically in the renewable energy area. Because we are still small, you should be willing and able to do many jobs that would belong to many people in a larger company.

This position is located at our office in Boulder, Colorado (i.e., no remote workers please). You must be legally able to accept a permanent work position in the United States of America.

Website Developer (.NET/C#/AngularJS)

We are seeking an experienced Website Developer to be a key member of our Product Team, with experience in .NET/C#/AngularJS. The product team is responsible for continuous development of our world-class software for simulating and optimizing hybrid renewable energy systems. You will develop custom websites based on our proprietary API, connecting to our product engine, and sometimes also on our desktop products, which uses the same core simulation engine.

Besides being an excellent coder, you should have a passion for excellent user experience and enjoy working on a small team of very smart and dedicated people. You enjoy challenges.
